He claims the game was fixed. He wants to take legal actions. I do not condone his behavior. I just posted it because it is newsworthy. Here is the exact quote minus a swear words.

so im sitting courtside(bottom left hand corner of the screen in a gray shirt) at the golden state warriors vs los angeles clippers fixed NBA game . The referee, joe forte(#45), is about to inbound the ball to the clippers Al Thornton.
You will notice a long delay in getting the ball inbounded because the referee is having a conversation(actually im just yelling at him)with me about the over/under for the game (which happened to be 218 combined points by both teams).
[the shot cuts away to baron davis]
Referees response:”what did you say?”
Me(intoxicated): MAKE SURE THE GAMES OVER 218 points. THE OVER. THE OVER. THE OVER.
referee(with no hesitation): THATS NOT FUNNY!THATS NOT FUNNY!YOUR OUTTA HERE!!
Next, he repeatedly blows his whistle and signals for a red suited security guard to eject me from the game!(you can see the worst GM of all time Elgin Baylor in the backround). then the nba lead security questions me in the tunnel for 10 minutes and writes a report for league officials to investigate. he then takes my tickets and orders 10 red suited security guards to throw me out of the arena immediately(which is not shown on camera).
ABSOULTE 100% BULL@#@#!! EJECTING A LOYAL BASKETBALL FAN FOR SAYING “THE OVER” TO A REFEREE?

oh and by the way, remember how the over/under for the game was 218 total points…well the final score was:
Warriors 116
Clippers 100
for a combined score of 216…and you guessed it…THE UNDER!!
[FOLLOW UP]- i am currently seeking legal actions against the clippers, the NBA, and commissioner David Stern.

How about the LA Laker game a few nights back. They were also playing the Warriors. Lakers were 2.5 point favorites (meaning they were giving those points to the Warriors). So there are 4 seconds left in the game and the Warriors have the ball. The Lakers are up by only 2 points (so they are not covering the spread), and out of nowhere the ref call a phantom foul on Monte Ellis against Derek Fisher which gave the Lakers the ball back and then the Warriors have to foul. Kobe sinks in 2 free throws and go up by 4 points. Lakers mysteriously cover the “point spread”…….

lol dont make me laugh walt..obvious it’s still fixed? So you are just basing your opinion on the league just because of what this fan said? this fan even admitted to be intoxicated when this thing happens, so I wouldn’t pay much attention to what this guy said. Besides, the game was well officiated..fixed my behind..and if the league was fixed, do you really think we would have seen the ratings-killer spurs winning so many titles? I doubt it.
the main problem is that many games are poorly officiated..it’s not that the games are fixed (which they aren’t), it’s that referees are bad for the most part and they are inconsistent. That’s the main problem. College hoops is facing the same problem (see UCLA games, for instance).

btw, this fan accused those refs to be gambling..and I agree with the refs here..they basically got called criminals so they were right to get upset. I would have been upset, too, if I was there doing my job and officiating that game and someone basically called me a criminal saying I was influencing the outcome of the game.

officials are told to ignore fans and their comments…besides, this fan did NOT use any sort of profanity or anything that would warrant an ejection…he just said “the over”…you cannot toss a courtside fan(who help pay for the referee’s salary) because he’s having fun and cracking jokes about the gambling conspiracies the nba is undergoing….if you dont want the gambling jokes….DONT FIX THE %$%ING GAMES
