Throwing a strike while America wanted him to throw a strike. America was hurting and we only had BASEBALL to help us all. His approval rating was around 90%. The second video tells a different story.
Bush’s approval rating is now around 20%. The worst approval rating for a president in the history of approval ratings for presidents. He threw the 2007 Opening Day first pitch for the Washington Nationals. In the video, he throws high heat and 80% of everyone in the stands would have liked to of thrown a little high heat as well. Compare the audible difference between 90% and 20% approval ratings.
