Joe Torre, Taiwanese media out, please! Funny Video. This is an old video and is not news. I just saw that it had a few Youtube hits, and thought that it was a better video than that. This is from September 9th 2006. It was during Chien Ming Wang’s first full season with the Yankees. Joe Torre is in his post game interview in his office.

The Taiwanese reporters are asking annoying questions that all come back to Chien Ming Wang. That is, after all, the only reason they are in America. That is the only reason they are away from their families. That is the only reason they have oversized mics blocking Joe Torre’s camera time.

I can understand why they asked all the questions, but it is funny when Joe Torre’s assistant finally says, ” Taiwanese media out, please“. I did not see any links to US blogs, but the Taiwanese links had a couple things to say. Well, the comments that were in English wanted the Taiwanese media to stop embarrassing them. They said they can easily get their news from American sources.

I am sorry for posting such an old video, but it is not too often that you see a whole nationality removed from an interview for being annoying

Right @ 17 seconds he exhales in disgust and removes the mic from his camera shot.
@ 1:25 he get’s asked if he left Arod and Giambi out of the game, because he has so much confidence in Wang. Right after that great question they are asked to leave.
