Because of Cancer, he had his left leg amputated when he was one. Adam doesn’t use a prosthesis, and only uses crutches when he reaches base for the Astros.
Look how amazing he plays. Look at the hustle. Look at the slide into second! This is why I am going to teach my son to play every sport he can. Not just to teach him to be athletic, but because this is what sports bring out in people. It brings out heart, determination, willpower, and guts. Adam Bender’s parents must be so proud! I can not tell yall how much I love this video.
