Do Not Call Kevin Garnett 7 Foot Tall, Craig Sager, Video. Craig Sager sits down with Kevin Garnett in the waning moments of the 2007 All Star game. He opened up the interview with twice mentioning KG’s height at 7 foot. That was a mistake.

Garnett sternly says, ” I’m 6′ 11″ and quarters tall. First off I’m 6′ 11″. At least I think he said “quarters tall”. That makes this video cooler, so we will say he said that. Sager goes on the defensive, and says that his shoes make up the difference. Garnett interjects ” Yeah I’m 6′ 11″ and some quorters” ( misspelling intentional )

If my memory serves me correctly, everyone was going crazy about the three 7 footers from the West in 2007. They talked about it from the moment the team was announced till the game. So, I think KG really was a little miffed.

I think KG gave Sager a little payback early last season.
