This afternoon Deadspin broke a video of a gentleman, Charles Charles McGalls, in a white suit trying to get D. Wade to go 1 on 1 with him. Turns out that it is just some viral marketing by Converse. ( Charles Charles McGalls is wearing a Converse sweat shirt in one of the videos, and it turns out that there is also some writing at the end of some of the videos that say “Converse“. And, um, I think the “Converse” at the end of the vids gives away the fact they’re from Converse.

As soon as I saw the sweat shirt, I knew it was from Converse, I did not even look for the fine print. Good looking out though.
On a side not, that is stupid of Converse to put that on there. They spoiled the surprise.
The chances of this going viral, like the Gatorade “What’s G” commercials, is almost 0. Where is the mystery?

There will most likely be 1 more video. That video will have Wade somehow punking out this guy.
Converse should have kept their affiliation secret. Now the only thing that is left is an anticlimactic ending.
