Mets Not Top 5 Plays of the Year, Video. The Mets are … this bad in the field this year. ESPN made a not top 5 video of their blunders. They have one of the biggest payrolls in all the bigs. They have had their fair share of injuries, but come on. These people are professionals. They are paid to catch a ball. The #1 play is baffling. You are beating your cross town rival with 2 outs in the 9th and the winning run is on base, and you can’t catch a pop fly with both hands? Honestly?
