1. Jim Nantz Feature On LSU Sophomore Shaquille O’Neal

Dr. Dime of The Hoop Doctors had that video up along with another of high school Shaq highlights.  But to me this one’s the classic: the Nantz voiceover, the 19-year-old Shaq in his Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas sweatshirt, the interview with Bill Walton.

2. Early NBA Iverson

While everyone’s been fascinated by the Dock Ellis Acid No-Hitter animated short — I even signed a petition about it, I’m still curious as to what the hell is going on in this cartoon en espanol about the storied Dominican Winter League team Los Tigres del Licey.  Please watch and try to explain this to me:

5. Charles Barkley on Sammy Sosa and Sarah Palin

I love listening to Shaq and Bill Walton talk, but not as much I love listening to Barkley.  Got this one from Townie over at Bugs&Cranks.

6. Levi Johnston Commercial: Sarah Palin Might Not Have Been A Grandma If….

Speaking of Sarah Palin — I tivo’d her on Oprah yesterday, but I haven’t watched it yet.  Supposedly she talks about Levi Johnston, her daughter’s baby daddy.  While Bristol Palin has already gotten into the abstinence promotion circuit, Levi’s all set to pose nude with a hockey stick in Playgirl magazine.  But he’s also sort of promoting protection as seen in this ad:

7. Terrell Owens Bummed

I’m really bummed TO’s been such a bust in Buffalo.  Which probably adds to how upset he was when somebody didn’t turn off their ringer during his press conference:

8. Top 10 Unusual Items Thrown On The Ice

This video from Puck Daddy sent me looking for footage of the “Seat Cushion” playoff game at RFK where the Redskins trounced Deion Sanders and the Falcons on their way to Super Bowl XXVI.  I wasn’t finding anything, so if anybody knows of some please let me know.  Meanwhile enjoy rats, bras, octupi and more:
