Keith Ballard High Sticks his own goalie Tomas Vokoun, video. Atlanta’s Ilya Kovalchuk scores a goal. The Panther’s Keith Ballard wants to hit the post out of anger. Instead of hitting the post he hits his own goalie in the temple / ear area and breaks his stick.

I understand that it was an accident. I am sure Ballard’s heart is broken over this. This does not make Keith a bad person. But this all started because a grown man through a fit/ a tantrum. As much as the announcers try to justify what happened, it was just a childish act that could/ might have permanently injured Vokoun.
